Laugh . . .

Dad was driving me home from Dance last night. We were driving on to the freeway. All of  a sudden we heard a big thump underneath us. It was really startling. Dad pulled over and checked to see if the car was fine. It was so we kept on driving. It was so startling it made me want to cry. I also wanted to laugh. (I was really tired). So I laughed silently. There are times in life when you aren't sure if you want to laugh or cry. Its better to laugh.

When we got home I noticed that Do Hard Things had come in from the library. Beth had put it on hold but I decided to start reading it anyway. I got to chapter 7 by the time Beth was home. My first "hard thing" was giving the book to beth. I really wanted to keep reading it. Lucky for me she is a fast reader. She is almost half-way through it so I will probably get it by tonight or tomorrow morning.

Have a great day!!!!

Bye!

Yes, Do Hard Things is a fast read because it's so amazing. I would definitely re-read it before you return it to the library...it's really amazing to re-read. the first time through is like drinking from a fire hydrant - you can't possibly catch it all.

You're so right thought Katie.Laughing is so important! My mom and dad and Lucy and I were just sitting in the living room yesterday laughing at the silliest thing that happen weeks ago, and it really did wonders for our state of mind. :)
