I hope you Dance!!!

Hey everyone! Sorry it took me so long to put up a new post. I have been busy, AND have had this awful cold for a while. So, I don't really feel like writing everything, so here are the lyrics to a song called I hope you Dance.

I hope you never lose your sense of wonder,
You get your fill to eat but always keep that hunger,
May you never take one single breath for granted,
GOD forbid love ever leave you empty handed,
I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean,
Whenever one door closes, I hope one more opens,
Promise me that you'll give faith a fighting chance,
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance.

I hope you dance....I hope you dance.

I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance,
Never settle for the path of least resistance
Livin' might mean takin' chances, but they're worth takin',
Lovin' might be a mistake but it's worth makin',
Don't let some hell bent heart leave you bitter,
When you come close to sellin' out reconsider,
Give the heavens above more than just a passing glance,
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance.

I hope you dance....I hope you dance.
I hope you dance....I hope you dance.
(Time is a wheel in constant motion always rolling us along,
Tell me who wants to look back on their years and wonder where those years have gone.)

I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean,
Whenever one door closes I hope one more opens,
Promise me that you'll give faith a fighting chance,
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance.

Dance....I hope you dance.
I hope you dance....I hope you dance.
I hope you dance....I hope you dance..
(Time is a wheel in constant motion always rolling us along
Tell me who wants to look back on their years and wonder where those years have gone)

The tune to the song is really cool. Ok, I gotta go and blow my nose. <3

. . .and after the storm, sunshine

So, today I woke up, pulled myself out of bed, went downstairs, read a little before I started my school, and then ate breakfast. I did some school until Beth was gone, and the school kids had been picked up by the bus. Then I went outside and exercised. It was exhausting, but afterwards, everything feels great. I feel good, and I am wide awake! Excercizing always makes me feel that way.

So, I hear that our cousins in New Jersey are getting tons of snow! I really wish that we had a lot of snow, but it seems like the only snow we'll get this year is the powder that I added water to, and put on our table. It is dying now, (I need to add more water) and it is very pathetic looking. Oh well, we had lots of snow last year, and for that I am thankful

Not much to talk about. My birthday is in a few days, and my family wants to get away Sunday afternoon to Monday evening. But, we haven't found a good destination yet, so I am not sure if we will be able to make that work. I wanted to have some friends over on Saturday for a party, but all those friends will be at a wedding this saturday, and next saturday my cousin is going to a fancy co-op event, and my older sisters to a community dance. So, I don't know if I will end up doing anything for my B-day. I never have had a big party, so I guess I shall just wait till my 15th for a party.

Thanks for reading my blog everyone! Have a week!
(and a great Valentines)

Signing out!

Heart and Soul

I have been taking Piano lessons again for the past few weeks. I am playing two songs. One, is Southampton from the Titanic, the other Rebel Heart, by the Corrs. Piano is my favorite subject in school l ;) I like to play, even if I am not that good.

Southampton is a gorgeous song, but I can't get it to translate onto the piano. I don't want to just play the song, I want it to be the song! I pour my heart into it, to get it to have the right elements. Adventure, hope, bitter-sweetness, and that sad happy part at the end. Rebel Heart. Everything, everything that has been bothering me lately I try to pour into the song. I know that sounds SUPER strange, and really stupid, but I make the song translate into who I am. Anywho, I can't explain it very well, but somehow the songs never sound right. I am sure to someone listening, they would sound just dandy, (except for the wrong notes) but to me, it sounds empty. Just a song.

Listen to Rebel Heart sometime, if you haven't heard it before. It is a great song.

Sometimes, I feel so fake. All the stories running around in my head, well they are me. The brave heroic girls, the adventures, the everything. I am those characters. But that isn't who I am. I am trying to put my stories aside. Just live in real life, and embrace this family, this house, this city, these friends, and not want a adventure. Just be me. But who am I?

On a MUCH different note, yesterday Sarah was walking downstairs after getting help from mom, and she looked sideways. Her neck started to hurt, and got all tight. She couldn't even move her neck for a few hours cause it hurt SO bad. She got better, and even went to dance last night, but this morning it is still pretty sore, and she is on Mom's bed again. She can move her neck, just it hurts. But, being 9, she doesn't have much patience. So, I am going to keep her company upstairs, and I am sure Allison will help me as well.

I hope you all have a amazing week. I appreciate you all for reading my posts!!
